National Service of Mediation and Reconciliation

National Service of Mediation and Reconciliation is a constantly operating state organ for the settlement of collective labor disputes, created by the President of Ukraine in obedience to the Law of Ukraine "On the collective labor disputes resolution ".

The basic tasks of National Service of Mediation and Reconciliation are:

• to assist the co-operation of the parties of socio-labor relations in the process of collective labor disputes settlement which arose between them;
• to predict the collective labor disputes origin and to assist their timely solutions;
• to realize the mediation and reconciliation while solving the collective labor disputes.

National Service of Mediation and Reconciliation within its power makes decisions, which are of a recommendation character and must be considered by the parties of collective labor dispute, proper central or local organs of executive power, and organs of local self-government.
